Masks by Bob Basset are featured in Parallel Lines, a unique cinematic project launched by Philips. The project will comprise a series of short (under 3 minutes) films, each of which has to include the following lines: “What is that?”, “It’s a unicorn,” “Never seen one up close before,” “Beautiful,” “Get away, get away,” “I’m sorry.”

The project is made by the British director Ridley Scott’s RSA Films. The Bob Basset masks are worn by a future Moscow policeman in The Gift, directed by Carl Erik Rinsch. Ridley Scott initially wanted Rinsch to direct a new Alien sequel but the studio insisted he do it himself instead.

All in all, eight films were made for the project.
